DOG-Update

With DOG-Update – State of the Art, in 2013 the DOG established a new training program for
ophthalmologists in clinics and private practice. This program offers attendees a compact and
effective means of up-dating on the latest scientific and research developments.

Selected experts present – in a lively manner using interactive elements – the results of the most important international publications of the previous 12-15 months. They also evaluate the latest findings and place them in a practice-oriented context.

This provides comprehensive refresher training for participants in addition to specific recommendations for diagnostics and therapy in the clinic and
private practice.

The 10 key topics are based on the subspecialties in ophthalmology. In total, 10 blocks, each lasting
45 minutes, take place on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. At the end of every two blocks, the speakers are available to answer questions, discuss and exchange knowledge.

The program including a handout is free for registered congress participants. No separate registration is required.

The sessions are continuously accompanied by a team of moderators who place the individual presentations in an overall context.
